Job summary

Lifespace Communities is seeking a Sales Assistant to join the Bloomington team. The role focuses on generating interest from new leads, conducting telemarketing and sales presentations, and welcoming prospective residents to the sales office.

You will support the director of sales, manage prospect records in REPS, and assist in developing the community marketing plan while coordinating sales events and evaluating advertising effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education, or psychology preferred.
• Two–three years of applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Compensation based on experience and qualifications; pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest from new leads and answer questions about the community.
• Conduct telemarketing and sales presentations with follow-up collateral.
• Welcome prospective residents and guests to the sales and marketing office.
• Provide hospitality to all guests at the sales office.
• Back-up support for the director of sales via ongoing contact with prospects via telephone, visits, tours, events, and home visits.
• Manage information related to prospects in the Leads Management System (REPS).
• Assist with development of the community marketing plan and monitor advertising effectiveness.
• Coordinate logistics for sales events such as lead generation and conversion events.

A few details about the role:

• Generate interest from new leads, follow-up on inquiries and generally answer questions about the community.
• Conduct telemarketing and sales presentations with follow-up of collateral material mailed in a timely manner.
• Welcome prospective residents and guests to the sales and marketing office.
• Provide hospitality to all guests to the sales office.
• Provide back-up support for director of sales through ongoing contact with a prospective resident via telephone, personal visits, tours, events, seminars, and home visit activities as appropriate.
• Manage all information relating to the prospective resident/inquiry: communication with administration, communication with direct supervision and accurate documentation of all contacts in the Leads Management System (REPS).
• Assist with the development of the community marketing plan.
• Monitor and provide information regarding the effectiveness of the advertising and marketing program.
• Coordinate logistics for sales events, such as lead generation and conversion events.
