Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Sales Arborist Representative in Mokena, IL to sell tree care services and lead customer relationships. You will work on site, visiting customers and building health care programs.

Responsibilities include estimating projects, educating clients about tree needs, and coordinating crews under the District Manager. This role offers opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Good people skills; self‑motivated; computer proficient and organized.
• Must be able to obtain ISA Certified Arborist after hire.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Position Overview

Sells products to business, government establishments or individuals at sales office, customer’s place of business or other locations by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to work as a tree doctor that makes house calls!

• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationships with new and existing clients.

• The Sales Representatives assist the District Manager in the direction of the whole team.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Love of the outdoors
• Must obtain ISA Certified Arborist ® after hire
• Required: Valid driver’s license
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
• Good people skills; self‑motivated; computer proficient and organized
• Must be able to complete extension courses on Tree Biology, Tree Pruning and Removal, and Plant Health Care
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
