Sales Arborist - Relocate to New Rochelle, NY

Almstead Tree and Shrub Care, a second-generation family-owned arboriculture firm serving NY, NJ, and CT since 1964, is seeking passionate professionals to join our team. We are TCIA accredited and prioritize employee development, safety, and quality of life.

Compensation: $65,000 - $200,000 annually, based on experience.

Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining a well-established territory, diagnosing and estimating tree, plant health, and lawn care for residential and commercial clients in Southern Westchester County.

• Visit commercial and residential properties for landscape diagnosis and monitoring
• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and bid for residential and commercial clients
• Implement tree care, lawn care, and plant health programs
• Supervise work crews and ensure client satisfaction
• Prospect for new business opportunities
• Maintain safety standards and enforce policies
• Participate in community and industry events to build your professional brand

Requirements:

• Proven ability to grow a sales territory
• Hands-on knowledge of tree, plant, and lawn care
• Ability to diagnose and price tree treatments accurately
• Skill in preparing and presenting proposals
• Experience in major account management
• Excellent communication and listening skills

Education/Training:

• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• ISA certification mandatory or ability to obtain within 90 days
