Job Title: Sales Application Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Application Engineer for our Engineered Solutions division. In this role, you will drive the expansion of profitable sales for our Power System products, including Gensets, switchgear, automatic transfer switches, and electronic packaging solutions.

Location

This is a remote role, but candidates must reside within 90 minutes of the Greater Boston area.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Pre-Sales activities, familiarize potential customers with our brand, assist with design, and demonstrate that our solutions are the best choice.
• Oversee the order process once it is placed, ensuring smooth handover to Distribution and ongoing supervision.
• Manage 30-40 projects simultaneously, focusing on about 10+ Key Accounts.
• Balance Farming and Hunting strategies by developing existing client relationships and seeking new end-user customers for generators.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to handle daily operations of Distribution.
• Coordinate Project Management to ensure timely building and shipping of products.
• Work with the Channel Team to ensure distributor compliance and effective product selling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 2 years of Technical Outside Sales experience focusing on Power Generation or Industrial Generators.
• Ability to engage in technical design discussions with Engineers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence purchasing decisions.
• Experience selling to Hospitals, Healthcare facilities, Water/Wastewater Treatment facilities, or Data Centers is preferred.
