Position Summary

The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role focused on customer service and basic vehicle services. This role is a pathway for career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. Responsibilities include assessing customer needs, recommending products/services, performing vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Successful candidates will learn all aspects of store operations and switch between customer interaction and vehicle service tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Customer service, sales, issue resolution - 75%
• Basic vehicle service tasks (oil, tires, fluids) - 25%
• Store operations, opening/closing, inventory, displays - as needed

Growth and Career Development

• Assist Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty when appropriate
• Learn all store operations and perform both front and back shop tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Customer service and growth mindset
• Ability to learn vehicle service tasks
• Ability to operate store systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent training/certification
• Retail sales experience
• Automotive experience (a plus)
• Management/supervisory experience (a plus)
