Role Description

The Sales and Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site position located in North Charleston, SC. This role is responsible for engaging with new and existing customers, explaining fire protection solutions, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales. The specialist will coordinate service appointments, support scheduling of inspections and maintenance, and ensure that customer needs are addressed promptly and accurately. Daily activities include responding to inquiries by phone and email, maintaining detailed records in company systems, and collaborating with design, installation, and service teams to deliver high-quality results. The role also involves educating customers on system features, compliance requirements, and available services, as well as supporting training initiatives for internal staff on products and customer service practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal teams.
• Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
• Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, and follow-up to close opportunities.
• Experience in Training or coaching others on products, procedures, or customer interaction best practices.
• Background in Sales Management or responsibility for managing pipelines, tracking performance, or supporting sales processes is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in North Charleston, SC, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and comfort learning company systems.
• Knowledge of or interest in fire protection, construction, or building services is a plus; prior industry experience is preferred but not required.
