We're partnering with a growing industrial organization seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead a small commercial team and drive business growth across North America. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong people leadership with technical sales expertise. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing and developing a team, building customer relationships, navigating complex solution-based sales cycles, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and marketing teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and marketing professionals.
  • Drive new business development while expanding existing customer relationships and strategic accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, operations, and marketing teams to support customer solutions and project execution.
  • Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, sales performance, and commercial initiatives.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in technical B2B sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with responsibility for managing, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Proven success selling technical, engineered, industrial, or capital equipment solutions.
  • Ability to effectively navigate complex sales cycles and engage with technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and executive leadership teams.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience leveraging CRM platforms to manage pipeline activity, reporting, forecasting, and sales performance. HubSpot experience is preferred, though experience with other CRM systems is welcomed.
  • Track record of building processes, establishing KPIs, and driving sales activity to achieve growth objectives.
  • Experience within material handling, industrial equipment, manufacturing, automation, engineered products, or related industries preferred.
  • Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach to leadership and execution.
