Job summary

Magnolia Place New Albany in New Albany, MS is seeking an Admissions/Marketing Associate to help achieve occupancy goals by guiding prospective residents and families through inquiries, tours, and assessments.

You will develop resident service plans, coordinate transitions, train staff, and coordinate events while maintaining strong marketing records and partnerships with hospitals and health agencies; a caring, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales/admissions for senior living is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to tour communities and present services.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Background checks and drug testing are conducted.

Responsibilities

• Achieve occupancy goals.
• Handle new resident contacts, visits, tours, and assessments.
• Develop initial resident service plans and promote services.
• Coordinate transitions from hospital or rehab facilities.
• Train staff on welcome and orientation.

Job description

Salary Range: $35,000-$40,000 + Commissions (actual rate of pay will be based on experience)

• Responsible for achievement of occupancy goals.

• Performs all new Resident family and Resident contact, including but not limited to the initial inquiry calls, off and on-site visits, community tours, and entering resident assessments.

• Develops Resident initial service plans and recommends and assists in developing and promoting additional service offerings.

• Coordinates new Resident transition from hospital, rehab facility, home, or other location.

• Trains staff in visitor welcome and orientation.

• Maintains ongoing liaison with hospital and health agencies.

• Ensures all marketing and community relations communications are accurately and timely notated in the marketing database system.

• Provides the Executive Director with accurate and timely sales and marketing information.

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and participating in community events.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, including listening skills.

• Strong customer service skills – both internal and external.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Must have an overall “caring” personality and attitude.

• Personal and/or professional experience with the elderly.

• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment required.
