Continental Automotive Group is seeking a motivated Product Specialist in Austin in a training-focused role. You will identify customer needs, present vehicles, conduct demonstrations, and guide buyers through the purchase process in a negotiation-free environment.

Sales experience is preferred but training is provided. A guaranteed $4,000 per month training pay supports your first months as you learn and grow within the team, with opportunities to advance to Elite Product Specialist and handle

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year and a clean driving record.
• English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and guide customers through the purchase.
• Follow up with customers by phone, email, and documentation of all communication; input data into the database.

Due to First Texas Honda eagerness to develop/train new sales consultants, we offer a $4,000.00 per month training pay guaranteed to provide financial security throughout the training process.Job Duties include but are not limited to:To identify the customers needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle, conduct the product presentation, perform the demonstration drives, and ask customers to purchase the vehicle.Constant improvement in vehicle and process knowledge and in educating the customer on products and processes.Assisting customers at initial contact, professional follow up, and after the purchase.Track customers through meticulous input of information into database. Follow up by phone, email, and documentation of all communication.Desire to learn and understand vehicle financing and to be comfortable presenting financing options to customers.Ability to be advanced to an elite product specialist able to take the customer from initial greeting through the entire sales experience ending with the presentation of all ancillary financial products and the signing of all purchase documents.Paperwork/Reporting Duties:Meticulous eye for detail in all paperwork.Creation of purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation.Strict adherence to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines.Employee Requirements:Education - Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.Prior automotive sales experience is preferred.Skills/Aptitudes - Strong verbal and written communication ability, strong listening skills, ability to take instruction and follow direction, punctuality, strong customer focus and a growth mindset.Miscellaneous - Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and have a clean driving record, social security card, completed job application, and completion of drug screening.Must be at least 18 years of age to be consideredEnglish/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.Provide exemplary customer service.Success Factors:Growth mindset, emotional stability, ability to work on a team, and strong customer service focus.Store Hours:Monday through Friday 7am-8pmSaturdays 9am - 7pmSundays ClosedCompensation:$4,000 per month training pay guaranteed.Commission based.CAG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
