Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Sales Analyst Intern in New York to gain hands-on experience across Sales, Account Management and Business Development. You will work with data, strategy and client engagement to drive outcomes and growth.

You’ll develop analytical storytelling, support pipeline growth, and contribute to presentations and projects while learning Mastercard's products, services and payments ecosystem in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or related, graduating December 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive customer and business outcomes.
• Demonstrated interest in sales, account management and client engagement.
• Prior experience through a business-related course, internship, case competition or leadership role is preferred.
• Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding customer needs, Mastercard products, services and payments industry.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to influence and build trust across stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-team coordination across regions and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in using AI tools to enhance analysis and productivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Support pipeline development and growth opportunities through market research and customer analysis.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and meeting materials for customers.
• Support sales and business initiatives through project management and coordination.
• Leverage data and insights to identify trends, inform recommendations, and support business planning.
• Collaborate across Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Services teams to drive aligned outcomes.
• Participate in customer meetings and sales calls as an observer to learn engagement strategies and Mastercard solutions.
