Airbnb is seeking a contract analyst to own the build of rate metrics and extended funnel dashboards for the SLGS program. You will work in SQL and BI tooling from a written requirements document with named stakeholders.
You will quantify connection and conversion rates, extend existing dashboards, and provide analyses across regions, vendors, and lead sources to inform business decisions and drive funnel health improvements.
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two Hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home and has since grown to over 4 million Hosts who have welcomed more than 1 billion guest arrivals in more than 100, 000 cities and towns located in 220+ countries and regions across the globe. Every day, Hosts offer unique stays and one-of-a-kind activities that make it possible for guests to experience the world in a more authentic, connected way.
Airbnb was born with a creative spirit, and it’s one of the most defining parts of our culture. We use our curiosity and imagination to come up with unconventional solutions. These are the ideas at the core of Airbnb:
Airbnb's SLGS (Scaled Lead Gen and Sales) program uses outsourced vendor sales teams to convert leads into New Active Listings (NALs). We are building the second wave of reporting for this program and need a contract analyst to own the build: define the core rate metrics, extend the existing funnel dashboard, and answer a defined set of business questions about connection rate and funnel health.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You will spend most of your time in SQL and BI tooling, working from a written requirements doc, with clear P0/P1 priorities and named business stakeholders.
Define and build the rate metric layer. Attempt rate, connection rate, connect rate per attempt, connected / unconnected / blended conversion rates, and conversion lift from connection — with documented definitions agreed with stakeholders.
Extend funnel reporting. Produce versions of the existing funnel dashboard indexed to lead assigned and to lead attempted, and add connected vs. unconnected sections covering leads connected, leads converted, attributable listings, avg. listings per converted lead, and attributable AABLs.
Answer the business questions. How connection rate moves over time; how it differs by region, vendor, lead source, and agent; the impact of extended outreach sequences and the telephony rollout; attempts-to-connection and connect rate by attempt number; whether phone or email drives first connection; where rate is declining (e.g. NAMER in July) and what top-performing vendor agents do differently.
Quantify the funnel impact Conversion for connected vs. unconnected leads, share of total NAL volume from each, whether the gap holds across regions/vendors/segments, and whether connected conversion degrades as connect rate rises.
Diagnose funnel health. Identify the largest step losses and compare actuals to plan at every step.
