Résumé du poste

Steel Craft Corp in Wisconsin seeks a Sales Analyst to own pricing accuracy and profitability for customer contracts. You will maintain price files, administer surcharges, and analyze margin by customer and part to support quoting and renewals.

You will collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Customer Service, Purchasing and Finance, build dashboards, and provide data-driven insights to reduce leakage and improve price realization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years in sales analysis, pricing, contract administration or FP&A, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Advanced Excel: pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, large data sets, building models from scratch.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system for pricing, order and invoice data.
  • Strong attention to detail; you notice when a number is off and chase it down.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with Sales, customers' buyers and leadership.

Responsabilités

  • Maintain customer price lists, part-level pricing and quote history in the ERP; ensure every order and invoice reflects the current price.
  • Support Estimating and Sales on quotes with cost, margin and historical pricing data; flag quotes below target margin.
  • Prepare and track annual and ad-hoc price increase proposals, including customer notification letters and effective dates.
  • Monitor price realization: compare quoted vs. invoiced pricing and identify leakage from discounts, errors or outdated price files.
  • Administer material surcharges and index-based pricing per customer contract terms.
  • Calculate and publish surcharge updates on the contractual cadence and confirm they are loaded and billed.
  • Track pass-throughs such as freight, fuel, energy, tariffs and finishing or coating adders.
  • Quantify cost recovery: material cost change vs. surcharge revenue captured by customer and in total.
  • Maintain a central contract repository and tracker; alert for renewals and pricing timelines.
  • Review terms and POs for deviations; support RFQ and contract renewal packages.
  • Produce recurring reports on sales, margin, price/volume/mix, surcharge recovery and profitability; build dashboards.
  • Analyze customer and part profitability to identify re-pricing, cost reduction or exit opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance on revenue, credit memos, rebates and pricing-related billing disputes.
  • Work with Purchasing to align material cost assumptions with supplier pricing and surcharge timing.
  • Document pricing and surcharge procedures and support internal controls over price changes.
