Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sales Ambassador in New Jersey to engage customers at tasting stations, prepare and sample foods, and help drive sales while providing high-quality service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will handle event coordination, maintain equipment, follow food safety guidelines, and complete trainings to grow product knowledge. This role offers growth opportunities and a friendly, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including: event setup and takedown; Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings; Managing sample supply and sample product inventory; Preparing event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program specific equipment.
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided

Pay range

The pay range for this position is $16.30 - $22.80 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
