Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and assist with event activities in a fast-paced store environment. You will prepare food items, stock samples, and promote new products while meeting sales goals and providing excellent service.

The role requires energetic interaction, ability to follow cooking directions, and capacity to stand for long periods. Training and growth opportunities are available in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts products.
• Thrives on customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell product.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.
• Strong communication and rapport with store team members and support office.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using induction cooktop and other equipment with directions.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery products.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing products and encouraging sampling.
• Coordinating event activities: setup/takedown, department meetings, inventory, and event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program equipment and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings to build knowledge base.

Overview Of Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base
