Job summary

Bio-Gro, Inc. in Central California seeks a Sales Agronomist to promote humic-acid based formulations and support customers with a complete fertility program.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will uncover crop nutrition challenges, present solutions, manage territory, build relationships, and collaborate with the technical team to optimize client outcomes. A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in Central California agriculture is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in agriculture.
• Strong working knowledge of Central California agriculture and crops.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage your time and territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farm and retail clients.

With a growing presence in domestic and international markets, we are on the hunt for a talented and dedicated Sales Agronomist to join our team in the Central California Region. In particular, to focus on the support and promotion of BioGro's industry-leading offering of humic-acid based formulations.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will use your industry knowledge and customer service skills to uncover crop nutrition challenges faced by your clients and present appropriate solutions, incorporating the Bio-Gro product offering into a complete fertility program.

On An Ongoing Basis, You Will

• Manage your time & territory
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with farm and retail clients
• Work with Bio-Gro's technical team to understand crop-specific challenges and present appropriate solutions
• Service & support existing customers while also seeking-out new, mutually beneficial business relationships
• Execute sales strategies to meet & exceed sales goals
• Operate within company systems for forecasting, budgeting, and inventory management
• Grow your knowledge of crop production and agronomic issues within the region
