Job summary

gpac is assisting a growing Agronomy company in recruiting a Sales Agronomist to drive seed, fertilizer, and cropping solutions to growers.

You will build relationships, manage a sales territory, prepare proposals, and stay current on agronomy products and technology. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $120,000+ with a company vehicle and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Make seed, fertilizer, and herbicide recommendations to growers.
• Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business.
• Manage and grow a sales territory through prospecting and customer service.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
• Work alongside agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer success.
• Keep up to date on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection products, and Precision Ag technology.
• Forecast product and supply needs on a monthly and annual basis.

Sales Agronomist Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation ranging from $60,000-$120,000+ depending on experience

• Territory opportunities available in Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, and Missouri
