Job summary

gpac in Colorado Springs is seeking a Sales Agronomist to advise growers on seed, fertilizer and chemical selections while building lasting relationships. You will work with fellow agronomists, create compelling sales proposals, and forecast supply needs to drive successful transactions.

Responsibilities

• Make seed, fertilizer and chemical recommendations to growers.
• Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities.
• Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
• Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis.
• Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently.
• Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, Precision Farming technology, finance and marketing tools.
