Position Summary

The Sales Representative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Sales Representatives, so the sales department’s needs are met and its goals are reached. This includes processing orders, preparing quotes, and helping customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Process designated orders, including orders taken over the phone.


• Create and complete customer quotes, and verify web orders as needed.


• Work directly with a designated Sales Representative.


• Assist Sales Representatives with returns and warranties.


• Answer inbound calls and transfer callers to a Tech or the parts department based on customer needs.


• Check and respond to emails.


• Answer customer questions and follow up with customers.


• Check parts availability.


• Use company databases proficiently to look up parts.


• Suggest products and services to customers based on their needs.


• Ensure customer satisfaction and build excellent client relationships.


• Recognize priorities and solve problems as they come up.


• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.


• Knowledge of typing, grammar, and basic written and verbal communication skills.


• Knowledge of basic customer service principles.


• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.


• Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
