Central Willamette Credit Union in Salem, OR seeks a Teller to deliver excellent member service, handle cash transactions, and support account maintenance. The role emphasizes cross-selling and educating members on credit union products, with a strong focus on accuracy and service quality.

You will balance cash, open/close accounts, assist with transfers and payments, and ensure compliance with CW policies while contributing to team performance and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic math with high accuracy.
• Proficiency with PC applications; ability to learn new software.
• Professional image when interacting with members and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Cash handling and transactions: balance cash drawer daily, process various cash transactions, balance vault and end-of-day reports.
• Open and close accounts as needed, handle transfers, wires, ACH, and other maintenance tasks.
• Promote and educate members on products and services, meet cross-sell goals.
• Complete daily branch tasks and month-end duties, open/close department effectively.
• Adhere to policies, participate in training and ensure compliance.
