Formación

• Current teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility in Oregon)
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Experience with diverse learning styles and classroom management
• Adaptable, patient, and passionate about empowering students

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying exceptionalities
• Provide direct instruction in resource, self-contained, or inclusion settings as assigned
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents
• Assess students’ skills and track their progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
• Implement evidence-based strategies, accommodations, and modifications to facilitate learning
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
• Maintain organized, accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
