Job summary

Chopt is seeking a Prep Cook to support our busy salad line. You’ll prep, wash, and portion ingredients for accurate, high-quality dishes, keeping mise en place organized and ready for the line.

You will help with receiving deliveries, inventory, and occasional dishwashing, with opportunities to learn roles like Salad Maker and Food Runner in a fast-paced environment. This role requires restaurant experience, strong knife skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience required, high-volume setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong knife skills or experience preparing ingredients.
• Must follow DOH food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Must move with urgency and hustle.

Responsibilities

• Prep, wash, and prepare ingredients for the salad line.
• Maintain mise en place and stock stations with the right ingredients and supplies.
• Accurately measure and portion ingredients according to recipes.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and sanitized per food safety protocols.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory.
• Support other kitchen tasks like dishwashing to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Learn cross-training opportunities such as Salad Maker and Food Runner.
