Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced SailPoint Operations Engineer to oversee daily administration, support, and stability of the IGA platform. The role requires monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordinating with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams to ensure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include L2/L3 support, identity lifecycle monitoring, and upgrades, with remote eligibility across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years’ experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent with 8 years’ experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for SailPoint, including incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Monitor provisioning, deprovisioning, account aggregation, identity refresh, certifications, and scheduled jobs.
• Investigate and resolve provisioning failures, workflow issues, connector errors, and data synchronization problems.
• Manage SailPoint encryption keys, keystores, certificates and trust stores
• Manage SSL/TLS Certificate for SailPoint application servers, connectors, APIs, databases, and other integrated systems.
• Perform production support activities, including configuration changes, testing, deployments, and post-release validation.
• Support SailPoint application and connector operations, including JDBC, RACF, file-based, and other integrations.
• Support SailPoint upgrades, patches, vulnerability remediation, and performance improvements.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and audit evidence.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Partner with IAM engineering, Cybersecurity, PKI, infrastructure, network, database, and application teams to resolve complex operational issues.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as required
