Job Description Summary

We are seeking a SailPoint Business Analyst with a strong background in project management and expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating application security processes, controls, and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders across diverse technologies, gathering and analyzing critical information. Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow is required.

Essential Job Functions

1. Demonstrate strong client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Maintain exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
3. Serve as a Business Analyst with expertise in business process engineering and IAM security best practices.
4. Design, implement, and assess IAM business processes and controls, creating documentation that guides the development and implementation of enterprise-wide security controls.
5. Collaborate with application owners to gather required information and provide guidance on completing onboarding questionnaires.
6. Participate in requirements gathering for IAM initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and project goals.
7. Facilitate and review requirements sessions between IAM system integration teams and quality assurance teams.
8. Provide consultation to business stakeholders, enabling them to effectively manage risk within their applications and achieve business objectives.
9. Offer system support to application owners, ensuring data integrity and compliance with security policies.
10. Conduct risk assessments on applications, third-party integrations, and infrastructure, validating alignment with security and technology controls.
11. Support control and governance activities, identifying and assessing security risks.
12. Oversee the onboarding of regulatory-compliant (HIPAA, SOX, GLBA) application deliverables.
13. Collaborate with development and QA teams to coordinate testing across development, test, and production environments.
14. Manage the end-to-end application onboarding process, ensuring a structured, organized approach with a strong emphasis on documentation and reporting.
15. Work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
16. Exhibit a self-motivated, proactive mindset, with strong integrity, initiative, and a passion for innovation.
17. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills, comfortably navigating ambiguous situations.

Qualifications

1. Self-motivated and resourceful, able to work efficiently and independently in a remote-first environment.
2. 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, IT project management, and solution delivery.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to create and maintain business rules, user stories, and process/data flows to clearly communicate requirements.
4. Experience facilitating meetings and leading requirements sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
5. Solid technical acumen, capable of effectively communicating with both business and IT teams.
6. Skilled in relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration across teams.
7. Strong presentation skills, able to convey analytical and process information to non-technical audiences.
8. Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation of business and technical requirements.
9. Ability to deliver results under time constraints while working independently with minimal supervision.
10. Strong experience in requirement tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or TFS.
11. Experience in developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
12. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
