Job summary

Vanguard Global Risk and Security (GR&S) seeks a SailPoint Application Engineering Technical Lead I in Malvern, AR. You will provide advanced IT development services for SailPoint applications, servers, and infrastructure, driving design, implementation, and maintenance across the SailPoint stack.

Responsibilities include lifecycle development, architecture specifications, testing, mentoring, and documenting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related IT field.
• 6+ years of experience.
• SailPoint IdentityIQ experience required.
• Strong Java, web services, and relational database knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT development services for the SailPoint application, servers, and infrastructure.
• Develop, design, implement, and maintain SailPoint projects and architecture specifications.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle including SailPoint development and testing.
• Ensure quality of IT deliverables and end-to-end testing.
• Mentor IT staff and review documentation and diagrams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Security IAM partners to define business requirements and security improvements.
• Communicate project issues and implications to stakeholders.

SailPoint Application Engineering Technical Lead - I

• Provides advanced level IT technical developer services for the SailPoint application, servers, and infrastructure.
• Provides technical expertise and completes complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, which includes SailPoint development, design, implementation, architecture design specification
• Ensure quality of IT deliverables
• Conduct end-to-end application testing
• Identify potential solutions and approve solutions proposed by team members
• Resolve complex issues uncovered by testers and internal clients
• Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and implications
• Evaluate impacts of change requests on technologies
• Mentor IT staff with less experience
• Review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members
• Write documentation, including technical standards and processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous quality improvement
• Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout product life cycle
• Work with Information Security IAM business partners to define business requirements and identify security improvements
• Thorough understanding of IAM Security policies and procedures
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related IT field
• 6+ years of experience.
