Job summary

Vanguard seeks a SailPoint Application Engineering Technical Lead – I to drive advanced SailPoint development for IAM, including IIQ design, integration, and security improvements. You will work across Java, XML/JSON, REST APIs, and SQL on a hybrid team, mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality IT deliverables.

This role requires 6+ years of experience in IT and security, with visa sponsorship available. You will collaborate with Enterprise Security and Fraud and Global Risk and Security teams

Qualifications

• SailPoint IdentityIQ product knowledge with emphasis on development and support.
• SailPoint IIQ object model understanding.
• Core Java development, design and debugging skills.
• Proficient with XML/JSON, REST API, SQL queries.
• Experience with Apache/Tomcat and RHEL Linux.
• Experience with JavaScript and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced level IT technical developer services for the SailPoint application, servers, and infrastructure.
• Performs complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.
• Participates in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including SailPoint development, design, implementation, architecture design specification.
• Ensures quality of IT deliverables and conducts end-to-end application testing.
• Mentor IT staff with less experience and review documentation created by team members.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous quality improvement.
