Job summary

Laurel South seeks energetic counselors for a two-month summer program. You will help run sailing activities for all skill levels and supervise the waterfront to ensure safety and enjoyment for campers. The role involves collaborating with staff to deliver diverse programs across land and water activities.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, dependable, and able to commit to mid-June through mid-August. Red Cross certification is a plus and compensation reflects age and school year.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching sailing to varied skill levels.
• Current or recent student status in school/college.
• American Red Cross certified instructors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct sailing activities for beginners to advanced sailors.
• Supervise waterfront program and ensure safety of participants.
• Assist with daily camp activities and equipment safety checks.
