Responsibilities

• Act as the Sage X3 functional specialist and primary contact.
• Provide day-to-day application support and coordinate resolution with teams and vendors.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to streamline wholesale and e-commerce processes.
• Configure Sage X3 and support enhancements, reports, and integrations.
• Support end-to-end processes including orders, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, shipping, invoicing and finance.
• Support integrations with e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and logistics systems.
• Develop functional specifications and work with developers/vendors on improvements.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Support upgrades, patches, releases and post-go-live activities.
• Maintain system documentation, workflows, and user guides.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process standardization.
• Provide user training and promote effective use of Sage X3.
• Manage vendor support cases as the functional liaison.

The Sage X3 IT Business Project Manager supports and optimizes the company's Sage X3 ERP environment, serving as a key link between IT and the business. This role ensures Sage X3 effectively supports wholesale and online retail operations, working closely with Sales, E-Commerce, Customer Service, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, and Management to translate business needs into practical system solutions and drive improvements in process, automation, and data quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the functional specialist and point of contact for Sage X3
• Provide day-to-day application support and troubleshoot issues, coordinating resolution with internal teams and vendors
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Partner with stakeholders to streamline processes across wholesale and e-commerce operations
• Configure Sage X3 and support enhancements, customizations, reports, and integrations
• Support end-to-end processes including orders, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, shipping, returns, invoicing, and finance
• Support integrations with e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, logistics systems, and payment providers
• Develop functional specifications and work with developers/vendors on system improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Sage X3 as a Business Analyst, Application Specialist, Functional Consultant, or similar
• Strong understanding of ERP processes in wholesale, distribution, retail, or e-commerce
• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, application support, testing, and process improvement
• Experience with ERP integrations (e-commerce, warehouse, logistics, or other systems)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
