Job summary

Magnum Electric seeks a qualified Safety Training Manager to lead the development and delivery of safety training programs across project sites. The role focuses on construction-sector training, OSHA compliance, and program performance.

You will design curricula, track certifications, and mentor trainers, while collaborating with project managers, site safety staff, and HR to identify needs across active projects. Travel to job sites is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive safety training programs and curricula for field and office employees.
• Ensure training content complies with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA.
• Plan and deliver sessions on topics such as fall protection, electrical safety, PPE use, hazard recognition, and emergency protocols.
• Track and maintain records of certifications, training completions, and renewal deadlines.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and update materials based on incidents and best practices.
• Partner with project managers, site safety staff, and HR to identify training needs.
• Support investigations of accidents to identify training gaps and corrective training.
• Prepare reports on training metrics, compliance rates, and program performance for leadership.
• Coordinate and mentor site safety trainers to ensure consistent delivery company-wide.
• Stay current on industry best practices and adult learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive safety training programs and curricula for field and office employees
• Ensure all training content complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards
• Plan and deliver training sessions on topics such as fall protection, electrical safety, PPE use, hazard recognition, and emergency protocols
• Track and maintain accurate records of employee certifications, training completions, and renewal deadlines
• Evaluate training program effectiveness and update materials based on incident trends, audit findings, and industry best practices
• Partner with project managers, site safety staff, and HR to identify training needs across active projects
• Support investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify training gaps and develop corrective training strategies
• Prepare detailed reports on training metrics, compliance rates, and program performance for leadership
• Coordinate and mentor site safety trainers and coordinators to ensure consistent training delivery company-wide
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety training and adult learning methods
