Responsibilities

Job SummaryWork under the general guidance of the Corporate Safety Practitioner, reports directly to Operational Manager. The Safety Champion acts as mentor, educator, liaison and partner in pursuing excellence and value in the plants and/or office using the concepts of Continuous Improvement problem solving. The Safety Champion must understand and communicate the issues and relative data that impact the quality of Safety, as well as the improvement tools necessary to support a culture change for behavioral based safety.
