Job summary

Amfuel, a DART Aerospace company, is seeking a Safety & Training Coordinator for our Magnolia, Arkansas manufacturing operation. You’ll lead safety programs, coordinate employee training, and support regulatory compliance across the facility.

You’ll partner with HR, production, quality, maintenance, and operations to build a proactive safety culture, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement while working hands-on on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing safety, EHS, training coordination, HR support, or a related environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Programs: coordinate and administer facility safety programs, conduct inspections and audits, identify hazards and recommend corrective actions, facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings, coach employees on safe work practices, support audits
• Manage Employee Training: coordinate new-hire safety orientation, maintain training matrices and qualification records, track certifications and refresher training, coordinate training related to forklift operation, lockout/tagout, PPE, hazard communication, emergency response and job-specific qualifications, evaluate training effectiveness and drive improvements
• Support OSHA & Regulatory Compliance: maintain OSHA documentation, support environmental, fire protection and emergency preparedness programs, maintain SDS and Hazard Communication records, monitor PPE and machine guarding compliance, maintain safety/training records
• Investigate Incidents & Reduce Risk: respond to incidents, gather statements and documentation, conduct root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, track actions, analyze safety trends, support workers’ compensation administration

Amfuel, a DART Aerospace company, is looking for a Safety & Training Coordinator to join our manufacturing operation in Magnolia, Arkansas.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to operations - working directly with employees, supervisors, and plant leadership to strengthen workplace safety, coordinate employee training, reduce risk, and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Human Resources, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations and play an important role in building a proactive safety and training culture across the facility.

What You’ll Do

Lead Safety Programs

• Coordinate and administer facility safety programs
• Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee safety initiatives
• Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices
• Support internal, customer, insurance, and regulatory audits

Manage Employee Training

• Coordinate new-hire safety orientation and onboarding
• Maintain employee training matrices and qualification records
• Track certifications and required refresher training
• Coordinate training related to forklift operation, lockout/tagout, PPE, hazard communication, emergency response, first aid, and job-specific qualifications
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Support cross-training and employee development initiatives

Support OSHA & Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain OSHA and other required safety documentation
• Support environmental, fire protection, and emergency preparedness programs
• Maintain SDS and Hazard Communication documentation
• Monitor compliance with PPE, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, and other safety requirements
• Maintain accurate safety and training records

Investigate Incidents & Reduce Risk

• Respond to workplace incidents, injuries, property damage, and near misses
• Gather statements, photographs, and supporting documentation
• Conduct root cause analysis
• Develop corrective and preventive action plans
• Track actions through completion
• Analyze safety trends and identify opportunities to reduce recurring risks
• Support workers’ compensation administration as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing safety, EHS, training coordination, HR support, or a related environment preferred
• Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and workplace safety practices
• Experience coordinating employee training, certifications, or qualification records
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to investigate incidents and identify root causes
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Ability to work effectively with production employees, supervisors, and leadership

The Environment

This position works across both office and manufacturing environments and requires regular presence on the production floor.

You should be comfortable walking through manufacturing areas, wearing required PPE, and working around production activities that may include fiberglass, dust, chemicals, equipment, and moderate noise.
