Job summary

Role Description

The Safety Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Midland-Odessa Area. This role is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating safety training programs specific to oil and gas operations, including classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and site-based training. Day-to-day tasks include developing training materials, providing quality instruction/training, managing training records/materials, and ensuring course content aligns with current regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and practical experience in safety management within industrial or oil and gas environments.
• Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present complex safety information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work on-site in field conditions, conduct hands-on demonstrations, and travel locally as required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer applications for documentation and reporting.
• Prior experience in the oil and gas sector or heavy industry is highly beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent required, with additional technical or safety education preferred.
