Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related area.
• Two years of related work experience in a construction, maintenance, or repair area of work similar to Public Works/Environmental Services.
• Two years of experience in public safety management or significant responsibilities administering safety training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Safety Coordinator with implementing and maintaining a safety management system for the Public Works Department.
• Support safety training initiatives and incident investigations as part of the safety program.
