Job summary

Epic Piping is seeking a dedicated Safety Technician for night shifts to maintain a safe, compliant work environment across all departments. You will prevent injuries, assist in regulatory training, inspections, and support safety culture in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in manufacturing, HS GED, and OSHA training is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. This role offers strong growth in a collaborative, safety-driven team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or similar industry.
• OSHA training a plus.
• English and Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Assist in accident investigations to identify causes and prevention.
• Recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous methods or materials.
• Inspect work areas, equipment, and practices for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate respiratory, hearing conservation, HazCom, and confined space programs.
• Conduct safety training and demonstrate proper use of safety equipment.
• Provide new employee safety orientations and maintain training records.
• Support right-to-know programs regarding hazardous substances.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Inspect areas for fire safety equipment and first aid supplies.
• Recommend suspending unsafe activities and assist in facility audits.
• Provide regulatory training such as forklift and respiratory training.

Epic Piping is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Safety Technician to support all night-shift operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment by preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental harm. You will support regulatory compliance, conduct safety training, perform inspections, and help reinforce our safety culture across all departments.

What You’ll Do

• Comply with safetyand environmentalguidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Assist inthe investigation ofaccidentsto identify causes or to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
• Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, ormaterials.
• Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental standards, and government regulations.
• Assist in coordination ofrespiratory program, hearing conservation program,HazCommprogram, confined space program, etc.
• Conduct safety training or education programs and demonstrate use of safety equipment.
• Provide new employee safety orientations.
• Assist in the coordination of“right-to-know” programs regarding hazardous chemicals or other substances.
• Participate in engaging response plans and procedures.
• Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, or first aid supplies.
• Recommend to site safetymanagementthesuspension of activities that pose threats to workers' safety.
• Conduct facility inspections and audits.
• Assist in providingregulatory training, such as forklift training, respiratory training, hearing conservation training, etc.
• Assist in maintaininga training database.
• Provide first aid care when needed.

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required, Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Preferred
• Experience:1 plus years of experience. Manufacturing or similar industry experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
• Certifications & Licenses: OSHA training a plus
• Language: English/Spanish preferred
