Job summary

Epic Piping, LLC is seeking a dedicated Safety Technician to support all night-shift operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will help maintain a safe, compliant workplace and reinforce our safety culture across departments by conducting inspections, trainings, and incident investigations.

You will assist with regulatory compliance, contribute to safety programs, coordinate training, and provide first aid when needed while supporting continuous improvement and employee wellbeing

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or similar industry experience.
• OSHA training a plus, English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Assist in investigation of accidents to identify causes and prevention measures.
• Recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous methods, processes, or materials.
• Inspect workplaces to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards and regulations.
• Coordinate respiratory, hearing conservation, HazCom, and confined space programs.
• Conduct safety training and demonstrate proper use of safety equipment.
• Provide new employee safety orientations and support toxic chemical awareness programs.
• Assist in maintaining a training database and regulatory training records.
• Provide first aid care when needed and support emergency response plans.

Epic Piping is searching for a dedicated and detail oriented Safety Technician to support all night-shift operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment by preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental harm. You will support regulatory compliance, conduct safety training, perform inspections, and help reinforce our safety culture across all departments. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Comply with safetyand environmentalguidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Assist inthe investigation ofaccidentsto identify causes or to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
• Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, ormaterials.
• Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental standards, and government regulations.
• Assist in coordination ofrespiratory program, hearing conservation program,HazCommprogram, confined space program, etc.
• Conduct safety training or education programs and demonstrate use of safety equipment.
• Provide new employee safety orientations.
• Assist in the coordination of “right-to-know” programs regarding hazardous chemicals or other substances.
• Participate in engaging response plans and procedures.
• Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, or first aid supplies.
• Recommend to site safety management the suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' safety.
• Conduct facility inspections and audits.
• Assist in providing regulatory training, such as forklift training, respiratory training, hearing conservation training, etc.
• Assist in maintaining a training database.
• Provide first aid care when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required, Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school): Preferred
• Experience:1 plus years of experience. Manufacturing or similar industry experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
• Certifications & Licenses: OSHA training a plus
• Language: English/Spanish preferred
