Job summary

Indorama Ventures Intermediate Chemicals is seeking a Safety Technician to act as the health, safety, and emergency response SME on shift. You will guide site personnel and contractors to ensure tasks are performed safely and in compliance with procedures.

Key responsibilities include risk assessments, incident reporting, training, and leading safety meetings. Must have HS education with preferred Health & Safety credentials and experience in industrial operations, LNG, petrochemical, or related

Qualifications

• HS Education or Equivalent required.
• Degree and/or certification in Health & Safety Sciences or related field preferred.
• Experience in Health and Safety policies and procedures in industrial operations is needed.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to assess risks and identify safety hazards.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Inspect and maintain safety, medical, emergency response equipment and testing devices.
• Serve as emergency responder and participate in incident command.
• Conduct training and drills on health, safety, and emergency response topics.
