Job summary

Borusan Berg Pipe seeks a Safety Technician for its Panama City location to conduct inspections and ensure workplace safety in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will monitor practices, report findings, and drive improvement across teams.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA standards, strong documentation, and the ability to coordinate safety discussions and trainings with staff. A rotating shift may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and audits of facilities, work areas, and equipment.
• Report results of safety inspections to Safety Manager.
• Monitor work practices for compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to minimize injuries and health risks.
• Facilitate discussions on safe workplace practices.
• Serve as a source of information on health and safety rules.
• Collect employee feedback on safety procedures.
• Distribute and post health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties incidental to safety activities.
• Rotating evening or weekend shift may be required.

Primary Duties

• Conducts safety inspections and audits of facilities, work areas, and equipment.

• Reports results of safety inspections and audits to Safety Manager.
