Schedule: This position requires working on mid shift or night shift, alternating between a 3 day work week and a 4 day work week.

(Example: alternating between Sunday – Tuesday / Sunday – Wednesday from 7PM to 7AM)

Pay Rate: $25-$27/hr. DOE

Location: Phoenix, AZ

The Principal Duties And Responsibilities Will Be

• Conduct safety observations and resolve issues, reporting violations and recommending corrective actions.
• Communicate safety policies and procedures to workers.
• Provide support to the field operations team to ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare reports of findings and recommend preventative measures.
• Monitor compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Lead facility tours for new employees, focusing on key safety features.
• Plan tool and equipment placement for safety and efficiency.
• Work in a semiconductor cleanroom while following contamination control and safety protocols.
  
  

Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience in safety, manufacturing, and equipment installation or preventative maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of EH&S principles, safety equipment, and related documentation.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills with the ability to improve work practices.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled active listener with excellent customer support abilities.
• Focused on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Self-driven and adaptable to change.
• Experience with cranes, motorized pallet movers, ladders, working on platforms, and handling chemicals.
• Management experience in a semiconductor fab/sub-fab.
• Safety training and certifications.
  
  

Physical Effort/Activities

• Ability to walk up to 5+ miles per day, stand for 8-10 hours, and perform tasks that require bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, and working at heights or on ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
