Job summary

Diversified Safety Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Site Safety Superintendent to support data center projects in the DMV area. You will lead safety programs, enforce policies, and promote a proactive safety culture on a high-visibility site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on construction safety, data center exposure, and strong OSHA knowledge. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to maintain on-site presence and supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce clear reports, develop procedures, and implement effective safety solutions.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Culture: Prepare and enforce health and safety policies that build a safe, proactive jobsite environment.
• Lead Safety Programs: Design and implement safety programs, plans, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Monitor & Report: Track safety compliance, document findings, and communicate updates
• Identify & Solve Hazards: Spot risks early, recommend solutions, and ensure preventive measures are put in place.
• Drive Engagement: Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions to keep teams engaged and aligned.
• Stay Present & Involved: Maintain regular on-site presence, participate in project meetings, and provide proactive safety guidance.
• Ensure Compliance: Verify that all work follows approved manuals, internal procedures, and contract requirements.
• Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate logs of inspections, reports, and safety correspondence.
• Oversee Site Activity: Supervise subcontractors and contractors to ensure work meets EHS requirements.
• Investigate & Improve: Conduct investigations for accidents, incidents, and near misses; follow through on corrective actions.
• Enforce Standards: Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures at all times.
• Support the Project: Contribute to additional safety initiatives and requirements as needed.
