Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Construction Safety Specialist to support a pharmaceutical construction project in Rahway, NJ. You will provide daily safety oversight across all trades and work closely with contractors and project leadership to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing activities for OSHA compliance, supporting startup activities, hazardous energy control (HEC) and lockout/tagout (LOTO), monitoring crane and rigging operations, reviewing lift

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience overseeing multiple trades.
• Experience with startup activities, HEC, and LOTO.
• Crane and rigging safety and lift plan reviews.
• Pharmaceutical or industrial construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 510 required.
• OSHA 30 completed within the past five years required.
• Current First Aid certification required.
• Strong communication and contractor coordination skills.
• Availability to support weekend work as needed.
