The position offers on-site work with a salary range of $80,000–$95,000 per year. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of relevant experience and appropriate safety certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• College/University graduate with 1–3 years relevant experience.
• Strong verbal presentation and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of Worker’s Compensation and Return to Work processes.
• Willingness to obtain additional safety certifications and designations.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety compliance across the manufacturing facility by ensuring teams follow rules and procedures.
• Inspect facility, identify hazards, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions with shop leadership.
• Develop and maintain shop-specific safety programs, manuals, standards, procedures, and training matrices.
• Lead safety orientations and training, including LOTO, industrial hygiene, and machine guarding.
• Investigate incidents, manage claims and clinic visits, maintain regulatory records and recovery plans.
• Support prevention and compliance through safe work practices, PPE, OSHA-aligned controls, vendor vetting, testing, and data analysis.

What You’ll Lead

• Champion safety compliance across the manufacturing facility by ensuring teams follow applicable rules, regulations, procedures, and best practices.
• Inspect facility, identify hazards, analyze trends, and partner with shop leadership to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain shop-specific safety programs, manuals, standards, procedures, and training matrices.
• Lead safety orientations and training, including new hire presentations, Lock Out Tag Out, industrial hygiene, and machine guarding.
• Investigate incidents, manage claims and clinic visits, maintain regulatory records, and support recovery plans.
• Support prevention and compliance efforts through safe work practices, PPE, OSHA VPP-aligned controls, contractor/vendor vetting, testing, and safety data analysis.

What You’ll Bring

• College/University graduate with 1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
• Strong verbal presentation and facilitation skills.
• Understanding of Worker’s Compensation and Return to Work process.
• Currently hold or willingness to obtain additional education, safety certifications, and designations required. Designations include but not limited to:
• BCSP – ASP, OHST preferred
• NSC Advanced Safety Certificate
• OSHA 30 Hour
• Train the trainer designations related to Safety and Health
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other computer software.
