Job summary

ALO Yoga in Southaven, MS is seeking a Warehouse Safety Supervisor to oversee all aspects of safety and health in the warehouse. You will ensure regulatory compliance, implement safety programs, investigate incidents, and drive a safe, secure workplace for teammates and visitors.

You will lead safety audits, train new hires and leaders, monitor safety metrics, manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work, and partner with operations to reduce risk through process and layout improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to lead and develop a safety-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (OSHA and company standards)
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the warehouse
• Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses; determine root cause and implement corrective actions
• Track and analyze safety metrics (TRIR, near misses, incident trends) to identify improvement opportunities
• Facilitate safety training for new hires and ongoing training for associates and leadership
• Lead daily/weekly safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns
• Partner with operations leadership to ensure safe work practices and accountability at all levels
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.)
• Manage workers' compensation cases and coordinate return-to-work programs
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety culture and performance improvements to warehouse layout, processes, or equipment to reduce risk and enhance security.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.
• First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
