Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC, is seeking an EHS Specialist to support safety programs, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship on the site. You will collaborate with Operations to promote a proactive safety culture and manage EHS data in the Gensuite platform.

• Lead cross functional EHS incident reviews to analyze EHS events, identify root causes, and develop effective, long-term solutions.
• Manage and maintain accurate EHS records within the Gensuite platform.
• Assist the EHS Team in executing site-wide EHS initiatives and integrating new technology to enhance current safety systems.
• Support the operationalization of GE Vernova’s Life Saving Rules to continue communication, education, and implementation of these rules.
• Use analytical thinking to propose and implement solutions that address challenges within our manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with operations teams to foster a proactive safety culture, manage EHS data, and support the implementation of GE Vernova’s Life Saving Rules.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an EHS-related field.

Relocation Assistance Provided: No For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $77,900.00 and $116,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
