Job summary

Lithko Contracting is seeking an On-site EHS Specialist for our South region, based in Nashville, TN. This role focuses on ensuring safety protocols, engaging the crew, and coordinating with the Territory Safety Lead to meet safety program goals during active work on the project site.

Key duties include supporting craft safety engagement, reviewing site activities for safe practices and PPE usage, and handling safety documentation and reporting across shifts.

Qualifications

• CHST certification preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to walk/traverse a jobsite and lift heavy materials on a 3rd shift and overtime schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provides safety support on site and engages team members.
• Reviews work activities to promote safe practices and proper PPE usage.
• Completes safety documentation and reporting for shifts and phases.

The Role

Lithko Contracting is seeking an On-site EHS Specialist for our South region. The On-site EHS Specialist is responsible for all safety related needs on a project. This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This EHS Specialist works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides support to Craft in DPP and OAT engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.

Requirements & Preferences

• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• CHST Certification (strong preference)
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime when needed.
