The Role

The RoleLithko Contracting is seeking a Traveling Safety Specialist. The Safety Specialist is responsible for all safety related needs on a project. This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to Craft in DPP and OAT engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.

Requirements & Preferences

• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• CHST Certification (strong preference)
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime when needed.
