Job summary

Lithko Contracting is seeking an On-site EHS Manager to lead safety programs across the Mid-Atlantic region and ensure compliance with safety protocols on active projects. You will coordinate with clients and the Territory Safety Lead to meet and exceed safety goals, while driving continuous safety improvements on site.

The role requires hands-on site leadership, strong certifications, and the ability to work 3rd shift with overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold CHST certification and OSHA 30 training.
• Ability to lead safety programs on multi-site projects.
• Ability to move and lift equipment and materials.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Craft in DPP and OAT safety engagements.
• Review on-site activities to ensure safe work practices and PPE use.
• Complete safety documentation and reporting for shifts and phases.

The Role

Lithko Contracting is seeking an On-site EHS Manager for our Mid-Atlantic region. The On-site EHS Manager is responsible for all safety related needs on a project. This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This EHS Manager works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to Craft in DPP and OAT engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.

Requirements & Preferences

• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• CHST Certification (strong preference)
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime when needed.
