You will lead safety improvement projects, perform risk assessments and ergonomic studies, support safety culture initiatives, interpret safety policies, and report performance through detailed analysis.
The Safety Specialist applies scientific and practical knowledge to innovate, design, and improve safety systems, processes, equipment, and tools to enhance safety characteristics in alignment with operations, new models, and innovation efforts.
Lead safety improvement projects, proactively cycle PDCA to reduce injuries and hazards, support safety culture initiatives, interpret and apply safety policies, perform complex safety compliance activities such as risk assessments and ergonomic studies, and report safety performance through detailed analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field; 0-4 years of safety experience; strong interpersonal, communication, and planning skills; knowledge of health and safety regulations; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work in manufacturing and open office environments, with flexibility for overtime, varying shifts, and minimal travel.
