Job summary

QCELLS America, a leading solar manufacturing company in Dalton, GA, is seeking a Safety Specialist to strengthen our EHS program and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will develop safety programs, lead incident investigations, perform risk assessments, and support ISO 45001 & 14001 audits. Strong communication and technical writing are essential.

Experience in manufacturing safety and knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations are preferred; bilingual Korean/English is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of safety manufacturing or chemical process experience preferred.
  • Experience generating, preparing, and writing reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and compliance.
  • Bilingual Korean/English preferred.
  • Military veterans with engineering/safety background encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare safety reports, monthly and external.
  • Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop Job Safety Analysis, PPE Assessments, lockout procedures.
  • Address safety noncompliance and coordinate with plant remediation.
  • Assist in ISO 45001 & 14001 certifications audits.
  • Enforce environmental and safety policies per company guidelines.
  • Assist Hazwoper team with training and emergencies.
  • Perform basic life support, first aid, and rescue functions.
  • Assist EHS audits and inspections.

QCELLS America, a leading solar manufacturing company is dedicated to creating a sustainable future through clean energy solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Safety Specialist to join our team and contribute to our commitment to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Expert knowledge on OSHA regulations
  • Develop and maintain written safety programs and related documents (forms, templates, etc.).
  • Prepare safety reports, including internal monthly reports and external reports.
  • Lead incident investigations, including facilitating root cause analysis, creating action plans, developing safety alerts, and tracking closure of corrective action items.
  • Develop Job Safety Analysis, PPE Assessments, confined space procedures, lockout/alternative protective measure procedures.
  • Identify and address health and safety noncompliance matters, working with plant to provide solutions.
  • Respond to regulatory requests and assessments and develop solutions for any enforcement actions.
  • Assist in ISO 4501 & 14001 certifications audits.
  • Enforce all environmental and safety policies in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist Hazwoper team with training and emergency situations.
  • Perform emergency basic life support functions, first aid, and rescue functions.
  • Assist EHS department with audits and inspections.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related EHS technical field (relevant work experience may be considered as an alternate).
  • 5+ years of safety manufacturing or chemical process experience preferred.
  • Experience in generating, preparing, and writing reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Presentation and training experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate in both Korean and English is preferred.
  • Military veterans with engineering, chemical, safety, or industrial operations background are strongly encouraged to apply.
