Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking a Specialist I, Health & Safety in Phoenix, AZ to support the development and continuous improvement of workplace safety programs across plant operations and offices.

You will partner with employees and leadership to build a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce risk, while assisting training delivery, hazard identification, and incident investigations to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in safety disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of safety principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience delivering safety training and coordinating programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with administration and maintenance of safety programs and training initiatives.
  • Oversee site-wide health and safety programs and promote safe work practices.
  • Support hazard identification, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
  • Conduct safety audits, line walks, and incident investigations as needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive safety improvements.
  • Assist with emergency response planning and drills.

y:As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will support the development and continuous improvement of workplace Health & Safety programs by anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling hazards. This role partners with employees and leadership to build a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and promote a safe working environment across plant operations and administrative office

  • es:Assist with administration and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) for annual safety training assignments and completion track
  • ingOversee one or more site-wide health and safety programs and serve as a champion of the workplace safety sys
  • temSupport delivery of safety training for employees, contractors, and visit
  • orsEnsure effective hazard identification, risk mitigation, and corrective actions for plant operations and office ar
  • easConduct daily line walks to verify Health & Safety practices are being followed and identify at-risk behaviors, unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, or policy non-complian
