Job summary

Fortress Safety is seeking a Safety Services Specialist to educate, advise and support our customers and teams on machinery safety standards. This is a remote, home-based role with a competitive salary and strong benefits.

You will create content and deliver training, help develop the Fortress Training Academy, and translate complex regulatory content into practical guidance for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven machinery safety standards knowledge and application expertise.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience as an effective trainer who can simplify complex topics.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements.
• Meticulous with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to lead and influence without formal authority.
• University degree or equivalent on-the-job experience.

• Drive activities that position Fortress as a trusted safety authority, including site visits and workshops.
• Create content and deliver training on machinery safety standards.
• Support the development of Fortress training academy proposition.
• Translate technical content into accessible customer-facing training materials with Product/Marketing.
• Support NPD/NPI ensuring regulatory requirements are designed in from concept to launch.

Safety Services Specialist

Remote, USA (Home-based) | Full-time $140,000 – $180,000 per annum + Strong benefits

About the Opportunity

Fortress Safety is looking for a Safety Services Specialist to bring deep machinery safety standards knowledge and expertise to our customers, our teams and the wider industry. Reporting to the Product Director, you’ll educate, advise and support the growth of Fortress as we deliver on our purpose of saving lives by providing the best safety solutions. This is a genuine opportunity to shape how the industry thinks about machinery safety compliance and training.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive internal and external activity that positions Fortress as a trusted safety authority, including site visits, webinars, and standards and technical workshops

• Create content and deliver first-class training on B11 to educate the wider workforce on machinery safety related standards

• Support the development of a Fortress training academy proposition

• Partner with Product Management and Marketing to translate technical and regulatory content into accessible, engaging customer-facing training materials

• Support New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activity, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are designed in from concept through to launch
