Job summary

Onsite Safety, Inc. is hiring for a field-based Tech Trainee/Tech I role in the Tampa area. You will install, maintain, and remove construction safety systems on active sites, operating company trucks and equipment, and documenting work via mobile apps.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous development with a clear career path from Tech I through Tech IV, accompanied by company-paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with 3 years of verifiable driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Dispatch, field leadership, customers, and teammates throughout the workday.
  • Follow jobsite safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standards.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, installation quality, productivity, and care of company equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and quality evaluations as you advance.

Requirements
What You Will Do:

Work Environment and Time Requirements

This is a field-based position requiring regular travel by company vehicle to active construction sites within the assigned market and periodic travel to other markets based on business and operational needs.

Service Technicians must be able to:
  • Work in all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Work at various heights, on rooftops, and around elevated or open work areas when properly trained and authorized.
  • Use ladders, scaffolds, and other approved access equipment.
  • Lift, carry, load, unload, and position a minimum of 55 lbs. of equipment and materials.
  • Safely operate company vehicles, power tools, and other field equipment in accordance with company requirements and applicable laws.
  • Work overtime, early mornings, evenings, nights, or weekends when required by workload or jobsite schedules.
  • Maintain required training, certifications, and qualifications for assigned work.
  • Meet all applicable Onsite Safety, customer, OSHA, fleet, and jobsite safety requirements.
